Orchard Care North East - Specialist Fostering Agency

Orchard Care is a not-for-profit organisation providing affordable foster care placements. Our service has developed and grown in strength and we are so pleased to have a fantastic reputation among our service users. Ofsted’s inspection in May 2007 also confirmed that all areas of our service are “strong”.

We can provide foster care placements for a wide variety of young people all over the North East of England and North Yorkshire. We find that our service is used, in particular, by organisations such as yours to provide homes for:

Young people on their way to residential care

This is a much cheaper option. We can evidence our fantastic outcomes for such young people. In fact, all of our young people are in full-time education despite the challenges many of them present!

Sexualised young people

We have some very experienced carers who have previously cared for sexualised young people. Orchard Care also has an experienced and well trained support team.

Children with Disabilities

Orchard Care has specialist provision for children with disabilities. We have experienced carers with adapted houses and a large number of carers specifically wanting to work with children with disabilities.

Sibling Groups

We have several foster homes that are able to accommodate sibling groups of 2, 3 and 4 children. Costs are totally negotiable.

Mother and Baby

We fully appreciate that all placements are unique and mother and baby placements are no exception. We would look to tailor make packages of care and all costs are negotiable.

Remand

Responsive back-up by an experienced team 24 hours per day.

We offer singleton placements, many of which are long-term, though we offer other placement types too.

We are very happy to tailor all placements and negotiate costs.

We do our very best not to add on costs.
